Clayton: Hey guys, how's it going Clayton here at etrailer.com. Today we'll be taking a look at, and I'll show you how to install, the Curt hitch on our 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio. So you might be wanting a trailer hitch to either tow a small trailer, use a bike rack, or even a cargo carrier. This hitch is going to be great for that. Our Curt hitch is going to have a 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. What this is going to do is this is going to allow us to use most cargo carriers, most bike racks, and even ball mounts. more

Here on top, we're going to have the Curt class three, here on the bottom we're going to have the Draw-Tite class three. Out of these two, my opinion if I was going to go for one, I'd go for the Draw-Tite. That being said, there's going to be a lot of similarities between the two, but we're going to go over the differences first.Biggest difference you're going to notice is the design. The Draw-Tite is it designed to mount behind the fascia, which means installation process is going to be a little bit more involved with this one. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio- Video

Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C13391. Here's what the hitch is gonna look like on the back of our Stelvio. Now it is gonna be visible underneath the bumper, but it is gonna tuck up nicely tight against the bottom of the bumper so it's not really gonna distract from the looks. It is gonna offer us a 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, so it's gonna have a lot of different options for accessories, ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, and a lot of other things.The way we're gonna mount those accessories is going to be through the hitch pin hole here on the side. It is going to accept a standard 5/8" pin and clip. These aren't included in the kit, but you can pick them up here at etrailer.com using part number PC3. more
